The Rolling Stones

Project: Women's apparel designs with rhinestone embellishments.

Process: My strategy was to create playful rock-n-roll designs based on some of the Stones' most popular singles. The lyrics and era of each song informed the creative direction—"Honky Tonk" has a saloon sign look, and "Ruby Tuesday" is a psychedelic font made of candy-colored rhinestones.

Results: The Stones were pleased with the results, and the shirts were licensed to several retailers.
